home_depotUnder the organizational leadership of Aberdeen Home Depot Manager Rob Miller, more than 100 employees from 17 regional stores descended on the Aberdeen Boys and Girls Club June 8-9 to give it a much needed face lift.

The club received fresh paint, new carpet, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, a stove, lighting, storage cabinets, cubbies and landscaping, thanks to the home improvement superstore and its suppliers. Behr donated paint, Graco supplied the paint sprayers, Scotts donated topsoil, mulch and seed, Black and Decker donated shelving units and cubbies, and Bell Nursery supplied plants and shrubs.

Tim Willis, Harford County Boys and Girls Clubs Operations Director said that he and Executive Director Randy Acosta organized a similar effort with Home Depot stores when they worked together in Virginia Boys and Girls Clubs.
