In many industries, mobile phones, cellular walkie-talkies and personal digital assistants have become indispensable business tools. Most companies could do without, however, the ever-increasing bills for wireless communications services.

Better Business Bureau estimates say 66 percent of all wireless bills contain significant errors and a report by the Gartner Group suggests 80 percent of customers don’t notice. It’s understandable, considering business account bills are dozens, even hundreds of pages each month, and staff members assigned to review them aren’t experts in wireless communications.

Small businesses often rely on customer service representatives to ensure they get the best deals and a fair shake when wireless communications bills come due. With profit thresholds and commissions on the line, it’s simply reality that company reps might not have your business’s best interests in mind when handling billing questions and service charges.

Wireless Resolutions, LLC, has organized in Joppa to provide independent, expert advice and wireless communications negotiation services for businesses.

Marty Taylor, who has more than 20 years of experience working for wireless communications companies, founded Wireless Resolutions, LLC in July 2008. Although on her own now, she is an industry-insider. She began her career with PageNet, then moved to Cellular One, which merged with AT&T. Then, she worked for Bell Atlantic, and then NexTel, which merged with Sprint.

“I’m overwhelmed by how many customers need help out there,” Taylor said. “It’s difficult to go through regular channels. Businesses need someone with expertise, someone who’s not afraid to call the carrier or the FCC if they have to.”

She offers her expertise for free. Companies pay only if they like the free money Taylor and company vice president Randy Bennett find after reviewing a year’s worth of bills for overcharges and like the new monthly rate Wireless Resolutions, LLC negotiates on their behalf.

“We’ve gained 128 customers in the past 12 weeks,” she said in an October interview. “We’ve got 75 reviews still pending. I expect to have 300 customers by December. We will represent 7,000 phones. That’s how I look at it.”

We know the right people to talk to, the right buttons to push. We know how to negotiate between carriers and usually get a beautiful package.”

Although based in Maryland, Wireless Resolutions, LLC can handle any account nationwide. To learn more, call Marty Taylor or Randy Bennett at 410-679-1206.
