Monday October 19th will start the Grand Opening week for The Vineyard Wine Bar

Oct. 14, 2009 -- After much anticipation the Vineyard Wine Bar is only days away from opening.  Owners Joe Lertch and Jarrod Cronin have completely transformed a building from 1838 into a premier location to experience the decadence of fine wines from around the world.  A wine tasting menu will also be featured with an exciting array of “tapas” style, small portion dishes, wonderfully light and healthy salads, assorted fresh pate, an extensive selection of artisanal cheeses, and specialty desserts.  The menu was specifically created to compliment and accompany the great wine selection.

The property is positioned in the Main Street District of Havre de Grace and formally operated by the Sawyer Family as the Chat ~n~ Chew restaurant. Now, daughter Carol Bruce has worked closely with Main Street, Inc of Havre de Grace to secure façade improvement funding from the Maryland Historic Trust.  With those completed improvements Joe Lertch felt that the perfect place to position his Wine Bar is in Havre de Grace, MD conveniently located between the Washington/ Baltimore and Wilmington/Philadelphia market.
