Havre de Grace Main Street seeks new executive director

Havre de Grace Main Street, Inc., in downtown Havre de Grace, has an immediate opening for its Executive Director.

The Havre de Grace Main Street Executive Director is responsible for managing programs and projects that meet the objectives of Havre de Grace Main Street, Inc. as determined by the Board of Directors. Havre de Grace Main Street is charged not only with the economic revitalization  vitality but also the historic preservation of our designated district.

The Director is an advocate for Havre de Grace, providing information and background on the goals and accomplishments of Havre de Grace Main Street to business owners, city officials and other interested persons. The Director will be a positive and energetic source for the long-term revitalization of the Main Street District and will support Main Street throughout the community.

Additionally, the Director serves as the primary contact and representative in matters concerning national, state, and local agencies including all Main Street functions. The Executive Director promotes excellence in design, good business practices, and compliance with city, county, state, and federal regulations. The Executive Director is responsible for all clerical duties for the organization.
