Microsoft's Excel is one of the most popular computer programs for reporting financial information because it quickly and accurately calculates numbers, eliminating the chance of calculating errors. Accelerated A+ Certification
This course is designed to prepare students for the two A+ CompTIA certification exams, core (hardware) and operating system (software). This course is uniquely designed for the student who is currently employed as a technician and needs certification to continue his/her job or to get promoted, or for those who have taken A+ training but did not take the exams. Topics include ports and connectors, maintenance, safety precautions, motherboards, busses and power supplies, CMOS setup, processors, and RAM. This brush-up course does not include equipment tear down or installing software. In each class, students will have hands-on assignments for configuration, optimization and diagnostics, homework, sample testing, intense lectures, and presentations. Intense PMP
The 2 day (16 hour) intense and comprehensive certification exam prep course is designed for individuals preparing to sit for the rigorous Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam. The course is based on the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), 4th edition. The course provides a high level review of how to properly plan and execute project tasks in order to manage projects successfully. Key topics reviewed include effective leadership, project roles and responsibilities, project communication, team building, project scope, project quality, project cost, project risk, project procurement, and project schedule. Attending the course enables participants to identify knowledge areas where further study is required, and enhances their exam-taking skills. This educational offering is required by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to become a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
