Memorial quilt made for parents of civilian killed on APG
The Quilters at Bulle Rock have hand-crafted seven quilts, the last of which was presented to Paulette and Bob Gray, parents of Joe Gray. Gray was killed in an accidental explosion at Aberdeen Proving Ground in May 2009. The Joe Gray Memorial Quilt, shown above, hangs in the Gray’s home at Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace. The group’s remaining quilts were sent to the Quilts for Injured Soldiers Project.
